Artist Statement

I am introspective and observant…my style and approach to design comes from within as well as from my environment.

I am inspired by the high intensity primary colors that are found in traditional Hmong fashion and intricate Hmong embroidery and applique detail. As an artist I am drawn to intense color and interesting geometric shape and line.

Au Fait Legacy

The French term “Au Fait” means to know or have intimate knowledge of something. This collection represents the rich heritage of Hmong culture blended with a contemporary approach to design.
